Im curiouse what it would take (money, tools, equiptment, etc...) to hook up my own audio system (amp, speekers). I need some good sites, and good info on ALL the stuff involved, but in simple terms.

Thanks: G-man422

Welcome to one of the worlds most expensive and addictive hobbies.

this should get you a basic idea of whats needed to get a complete front/rear and sub stage

this will teach you all the basics of the electrical terms and how some things work and such

this should help some

this should help some also

Like everything else in this world you get what you pay for in most instances you can notice a severe difference between a subs that cost $50 and one that cost 3-4 times that much, look at the brand rating list it helps give an idea of what to look for.

Wheres and what is the amp grounded to, also your power wire could be sitting on something cause it to short blowing the fuse which is most likely the cause. Next step are the fuses on the amp blowing it could be the speaker wires grounded. Double check all your wiring to make sure nothing is touching.
