last night my boyfriend told me he was going to sell his truck (a 2001 s10 crew cab on the grounds that it gets horrible gas mileage). thing is, i already got him vent visors for the windows on his truck for christmas! it is exactly what he asked for only a week ago, so i cant be blamed for this situation. my question is, do i tell him what i got him? i mean, what good is a christmas present that someone else is going to enjoy (in the case that he installs them and sells the truck anyway)? i bought them from auto zone who had to special order them, so i might not even be able to return them.....i already paid for them, too. guys are so difficult!

I don't think you'd have any trouble returning them to Autozone, they're pretty flexible about that as long as you have the reciept.

Seems like girls are the only one's who ever have trouble with this xmas presents stuff...or presents in general.
Just tell him what you got him since it'd be a waste of money either way. If he's really gonna sell it you two would probally agree on just getting your money back. Then you can go buy some edible-under britches :-D

Males are difficult. Something like this happened to me last year... only thing is, he told he he hated the present after he opened it (and gave me the same thing for one of my presents). Just tell him you got him "something" for the truck, and if he's serious about selling the truck then you need to know NOW.

S10 gets horible gas milage, lol...sorry couldn't help myself. Any ways just say somthing along the lines of you got him "somthing" for the truck, but you need to know if he is surly selling it, so you can get him something else.

Yeah. Sometimes the present you would least expect him or her to like will be the favorite.

Just do what I did and get him nothing! He'll love you even more. It'll be great.
Or maybe he'll kick you out on your ass in a cold foreign country. Either way...

Horrible, Nicole.. I saw that coming though when Chris told me what was going on.
Anyway, just get your guy something simple.. it all depends on what hes into, and guys are usually into one of these things cars, beer, sports. We are a simple folk..
Or you could just go the easy way and go for secks in some outfit that you like..

Simple - give him the visor and ask for his truck for Christmas. :)

thanks, guys (& saturntangerine & nicole). this weekend, i asked him again what he wanted for christmas and he said "stuff for my truck." i said "well what if you still sell it?" he said "well i dont know." the only other thing he said he wanted was NCAA football 07, but i love my sex life so no way on earth is he getting a video game. i guess i'll do some more investigating and find out if there's anything else he wants. i made him a list of what i want for christmas and he just went and put it in a drawer. so either i need to make a better list or he already got me something and he thinks it's good enough. i hope it's the second one!

it's a good thing if you have to compete with a video game or vehicle instead of another girl.

i dont think it has anything to do with jealousy. and really, mostly he just plays football (madden or NCAA). but how many times can you play video game football!? i mean... seriously?
mainly, what i dont like about video games is:
1. they use the tv so while he's playing a game i cant even watch tv (and i just moved to a new town in a new state in a new time zone [to be with *him*] so i dont have any friends to go out with yet)
2. there is no interrupting it once it's started (halftime = bathroom break)
3. and occasionally, he will forgo sex to play the game (definitely not something a girl wants to hear)

That is kind of a problem if he's passing up some lovin for Madden. You might have to up the ante :)
I think a reinactment of 'Varsity Blues' would catch his attention. If not, something's definitely wrong.

hahaha, this is great! u ask how many times a guy could play a game? endless...... ive played call of duty 3 on live for like 4 days in a row now. i do understand that it uses the livingroom tv, but i have many tvs... i dont think id pass up sex for the game, but u never know, sometimes the game is more exciting! i guess if i had to choose between a women, or my car and xbox 360, id be single for a while....

Seriously, when halo2 came out, nothing else mattered.
given, we've seent eh girl topless before and ive seen her naked, but one time 4 of us were playing halo 2 and she was just sittin in the room bored. started saying how she was stripping and none of us budge. it wasn't worth the risk of dying!
although, best thing is game and girl sametime.use your imagination. :naughty:

we're getting money from our families for christmas for furniture. as for a second tv, he had one but it broke. it was about 6 years old and it had moved with him (in the military) from alabama to texas to somewhere else to alaska and then back to alabama, so it had served its time.

Yea me neither, but I did see that one part where this girl walked downstairs with nothing but whipped creme on. That'll get someone's attention.
