Headlights seem to be not as bright

Anyone have an idea as to why my low beams would not be as bright as they use to be. Not a power or electrical problem, but more of the ability of the light to go down range and light up the road. High beams do a better job than the lows but everyone gets unhappy when I do that.:banghead:
