Howdy, I need to adjust the headlights on 88 mustang LS. What special tool do I need to purchase and where might I find one?:popcorn:

i would think you need one of those large banners/signs that shops have to point headlights on them and see what needs to be adjusted.

But do you know what type of tool I need for the hardware on the vehicle?I can not find any literature on the item.The other part is no problem.I have training in that area,so I just need to locate the tool.

possibly a 4mm scket, or a phillips screwdriver.

What ever the tool is; it is going to have to be a deep-well of some sort. The threaded potion is at least 2 1/2 inches long. And I cant see the bottom.

there's not a tiny bolt head shape at the end of the shaft? otherwise i'd have to see a good picture of it. also to look at the end of the threaded part to see if it's a ball in a plastic socket there may be a phillips in there.

thought of somethin else, look down in there and see if theres a little bottle cap lookin thing with teath on it. if so sick a large phillips in the teeth an use teh screwdriver to turn the bottlecap lookin piece.
