2000 Dakota 3.9 cold idle issues

Some of you might know me on the Chevy forums, but I have a question for you Dodge gurus.
I've got a 2000 Dakota 2WD in my charge right now, with the 3.9l V6. I've had to replace the steering rack on this, as well as the 44RE trans and the brakes. There's just one more issue I'm having with this truck.
When it's cold, it won't idle. It will stall, unless you give it gas and it will go to the appropriate RPM. Once it warms up, it runs nicely. Using a scanner on the truck, there were no engine-related DTCs, just a P1762 from the original trans failure (cleared afterward).
My guess is something in the idle air control ... any suggestions?

Turned out to be the IAC valve, as suspected. Later!
