I would put a ~$4800 asking price on it and take ~$4200 or so.

It depends on where you live. I know around here you could get around 5 or 6 pretty easy

Shit, why sell for cash... When I sell cars, I only take Arcade Tokens...

No, but seriously it does depend on what the location can sell for... check autotrader and ebay and see what local eclipses are selling for...

Fuck man, list that bitch for $6500 and see what happens. Either you'll get some idiot kid to buy it thinking he got a good deal on it, or you'll get someone who talks you down, and then sell it for 6k. I've sold a few cars in my day, that seems to work the best. :)

Deffinatly depends on location. I know around here (York, PA) I wouldn't doubt you could get upwards of 5,800 for it.

shit around here... you wouldn't get nemore than $4.5k... I bought a '91 TSI for $1800 (it was in terrible shape though)

Hmm... i think i made up my mind. How about if I import it to the philippines eh? hehe I'll be living there for like 3 years till i finish college. Jeez, a lightly modded 95-96 eclipse sell for about 10K haha.

Anyone here know how to import a car? A website? help! How much tax am i paying for this old ass car? :)

I dont know if that would be a good idea..I mean consider that if something were to happen to you car that you werent able to fix. How would you get parts? and if it was something you couldnt do your self then you have to find a mechanic that knows how to fix dsm's. I'd sell it for shure then spend half of your money on a car thats actually in the philippines and the rest on boose.

Said he was moving out of country to go to college.

But your statement is true, sorta.

The military will move your vehicle from mainland U.S. to hawaii or alaska. But generally they don't allow you to transfer a vehicle from the US to another country. I think alot of this has to do with the laws of the country. Registration and etc. The US military usually tries to adhere to the laws of the country/state that they are in. Usually most servicemembers usually just buy a vehicle in whatever country they are in. I've never really heard of anyone transfering their vehicles to other countries unless they are going on an accompanied tour which includes their whole family and all their household goods.

Hehe actually i was there for 6 months and im back here for Christmas... They've got local DSMs but they were limited. As far as i know only around 200 GS-Ts and all automotic... . And jeez labor there is cheap, i dont even have to change my oil myself (i drive a lancer in the Philippines).

Umm... yea a i could get a skyline, silvia, evo III from japan. One evo III was selling for around... umm 7K but not in perfect condition. My dad wouldn't want a BEAT up car. R32-33 GTRs around ranging from 16-20K i guess, R34 GTR Vspec II are expensive though. And guess what, DC2 type R for about 10k JDM edition hehehe. '03 DC5 20k. These are all converted to LHD

Well enough of those, I bet I can get parts for it, and time to do 2.4 convertion. Whenever I see an eclipse over there, it reminds me of mine hahaha.

IMPORTED cars over there are pretty common, mostly from japan though, some from US.
