No Tail Lights, No Instrument Panel Lights

I got into my 1993 1500 the other day, started and smelled something burning, like a fuse. Instrument panel operates fine, but no illumination. Headlights work, but no tail lights or park lamps. Checked all the fuses and the convenience box, but did not find anything. Visually looked for burned wires underneath dash, but it appears okay. Also, no audilble buzzer when headlights are turned 'on' and the engine is still 'off'. Any suggestions?? I appreciate any comments.:) :)

Possible bad head lite switch, pull it and check the circuits.
