help with my 96 sidekick from the pros....

:banghead: :banghead: im just stumped.... ok lets start here , i have a 96 suzki sidekick sport 4 door hard top 4x4... it has the twin cam 1.8 , with the 4 speed automatic..well overdrive anyway ...so here goes at idle on the brake at the red light..so to speak.... the idle will drop from like 1000 to like 200 then kick back up ... then it will through the check light.... comes up.... po741...torque converter clutch solenoid circuit... ok problem is where or what the hell is it.. i cant find anything anywhere on this ... is it a solonoid i can replace ???? is it inside the tranny???? on the side??? im lost i really need help here i need to fix it .. :frown: i want my jeep back.. im scared to drive it... any help is appre...dark

Check for vaccum leak.
Check TPS and idle screw could be out of specs. The best way to adjust idle is using the diagnostic terminal by monitoring the duty output with an analog multitester. Just make sure the TPS is set right before doing the procedure.
