OK so Ive had this problem way to many times, and its making me mad.
I have an 89 Civic DX Hatch.
My parking lights fuse keeps blowing. My g/fs dad and me fixed it one time and it worked for a while then one night the fuse just blew again. Does anyone know what it could be or how i could fix it. We really didnt do anything except take all the lights out.

I dont know if you guys can help me or not but if you can that would be great!
Thanks alot!

Did you guys check the grounds? If you got a loose ground wire, it could be causing the fuse to blow

There might be a loose ground conntection somewhere behind the dash. You'd have to take your guages out to see

Well I'm not sure what steps are involved in pulling out your dash, but its not that hard in the good ol' accord. All you need is a screwdriver and a lil patience. I don't know the details for the Ef's dash but in my car theres a couple screws holding the steering column hub together. Crack that open and off then theres screws securing the bezel frame and the guage cluster itself. Once off, the guages pull out (carefully) and the wire harnesses can be disconnected.

After that you should be able to see if there are any grounds attached to the frame. Have you had any kind of work done around the dash? Stereo or previous lighting work?

I put a head unit in a while ago, like in July and they worked fine. I recently (like 2 weeks ago) put a system in, but that has nothing to do with the lights, thats just running throuhg the fire wall. cause i even tried that. i unhooked everything and tried it and it still popped a fuse. I cleaned all the sockets for the lights and it worked one time then i did it again, and it didnt work. I think i have a short somewhere but it could be a pain in the arse to get to. Thanks for your help.
