This morning, I was about an hour or so into and 2 1/2 hour trip. It was raining, so of course I had my wipers and headlights on (as well as the heat and the stereo).
All the sudden, my wipers stopped partway up the windshield, and the dashlights (the background ones that come on with the headlights) started flickering. I think I lost some (but not all) power, but I'm not too sure now.
I pulled over, turned the wiper switch and the headlight switch off, turned on the hazzard lights, and finally shut off the ignition.
I immediately started the car back up, and everything was fine for the rest of the trip.
Even having experienced numerous alternator problems with many other cars in the past, I've never experienced anything like this!!
Oh, and the battery and alternator were just tested a month or so ago, and were fine then.
What gives? Any ideas??

If/when it happens again after getting out of traffic and safe, slightly at first move the ignition key back and forth a bit to see if that changes any of the symptoms. Dont go too far forward into start position.
Check both the battery connections and the main grounds connections at chassis.
