Hey all,
I saw some dude's website where he told how to add a buzzer for your lights. I had been meaning to do this forever, but just barely got around to going to Radio Shack, and now I can't find the site. Any help would be great!
Thanks!!!

I believe it has to do with the fact that with the ignition off, that the defroster acts as a ground. Therefore if you have the red wire hooked to the lights and they are on power will flow through the buzzer
(LOUD BUZZZZZZZZZZ).
Likewise, when the ignition is on, the defroster will be supplying power and the lights will supply power (meaning no ground and no BUZZZZZZZZZ).
Hope this helps.

brad is exactly right...
You can connect the ground to anything that has power with the key on.
I just did the rear defroster cause that's what i saw for the directions.

It's a little black buzzer that attaches to ur fuse box & makes a high pitch sound when u leave ur lights on if ur car is not running.....
Which means no dead battery..:D

The one that I picked up is a little piezo buzzer that says DC 2-20v. It is about the size of a quarter and twice as thick. I'll let you know how the install goes.

Well, I put the buzzer in, which was real easy, but the one that I bought was so weak that you couldn't even hear it, so I'll have to go get a better one.
