pick up a haynes manual if you need an illustration, which you'll need for torque specs for the upper intake manifold anyways.
it really is simple.
the only tough part you may run into is removing the upper intake manifold, cause you have to,to get access to the right side valve cover.

I need to do this again soon. Driver's side is leaking like a sieve. After seeing this on I-75 last night, I don't want oil dripping on the exhaust any longer.

Yeah, I remember when mine were leaking on the move back to Colorado; the higher the rpm's, the more steam was coming out of the engine bay. Oil was hitting the exhaust, making us look like a steam roller rollin' up I-70 - no kidding. Thought for sure it AND the boat were gonna go up in flames.
2 days later it was in the shop, cost around $250 for both Valve cover gaskets, a new valve cover (it warped), a couple new O-rings through/around the T-pipe housing - since he was there, and a new intake gasket.
So far, so good; that's been 5yrs and almost 100k miles ago.
