ATTS = Messed Up???

My ATTS is messing up on me...the light came on several times and went off when I turned the car off, but one time it came on and stayed on. Took it to the honda dealer and they had to replace the the ECU.

Well now it has done it again. I was just going around a corner, not gunning it or anything and bam, car makes some wierd noises and ATTS light is on for good. I reset the ECU and it stays on.

Any ideas?

can u actually feel your ATTS acting up. Like does it wanna go the other way whe you turn?

actually, if you really don't care about the ATTS, I think it acts like an open differential when it is off. If the light is on, it should be off. as for being able to tell it's off, punch it in a turn, you will notice the difference

i used to have problems with my atts, and when i was installing a few Amp's the positive battery terminal was unplugged for about half an hour. When i turned the car on to test the new amps, the light was off, and i havent had a problem sinse. As far as i can tell, the atts is working fine, because i can get around those loop-de-loop on ramps at about 65mph+ easily.

have you spun your tires recently? or drove your car up a steep incline? these two things are comman reasons your ATTS warning lamp will go off. also everytime you throw off a CEL code, the lamp may go on as well. have you lowered your car and if so how low? what other mods have you got? check for leaks in the atts unit itself.

I have a 2000 prelude type sh. About a month ago, my ATTS light came on when I turned right from a dead stop. I stoped my car immediatley and turned it off, and the light turned off. Just last night I turned to the left from a dead stop and my ATTS kicked in and the light of course came on. (Both situations I did NOT gun it, just a normal go).
Now my light is still on, any suggestions that aren't too costly ? ? ?:confused:
