VIN help & original equipment

Does anyone know if there is a website that will allow a person to enter their VIN and get a list of how the vehicle was originally equipped? I understand that the dealer can do this for you, but do they charge for this service? Yeah, I'm cheap...

Only the dealer can decode the entire VIN with the oe equipment, but the list of RPO codes in glove box will tell what the truck has, then you could google "rpo codes for GM" and see what the codes refer to.
