Hi !
You took a lead on me " Johnny Boy" I have to steep it up with my Camaro now. It is all primed and ready to receive 3 coats of black, and will do some special painting to it, but that is a suprise.
Your Camaro looks very nice ! did you paint the weels ?
George

Looks good.I've received mine. Strange plastic, very soft but the attach points are sooo big ....Mine will have a closed hood coz when I seethe engine, no way I show this !!!! I was thinking in a silver outside and a red interior (ala SLR) or orange metallic with 2 Black stripes.
I've put some smoke on the wheels, it looks nice too ;)

Looks cool.
And could you tell something about AMT kit? Is the body straight and is it going well with the chasis?

Well, the body ( one piece) is straight and well detailed, but I worked a little bit :banghead: with one piece at the rear of the car that is not fit very well ( a picture is coming soon) otherwise the kit is ok. The wheels and tires are well done! I'm working now on the interior so I will post some information soon.

Hello, here is the piece from the back of the car that need some work to fit good. I painted interior (very basic) insegna red but with some details I believe it will be ok. Later I will sand the full car with 6000 to 12000 grade to upfully give 3 last coats......:) :) :)

Thanks for reply.
After my GT40 I said 'AMT - never again', but looking at this one - who knows. If you're saiyng it's not bad, I have to add it to my 'to do' list.

Well the kit looks MUCH better in your pictures than it does on the box cover. The box cover is what really turned me off of this kit. Maybe I'll have to pick one up now. Yours is looking GREAT!!! White with red interior just adds to the whole classic look. Should be killer when it's done!

Hello, just finished my project today!!!! :grinyes: . Thanks for your comments!
I have some comments about that kit. Overall the kit is ok, the body is accurate, wheels and tires are nice, the interior ok but simple and engine...well no major details. But I had 2 major problems :banghead: . First of all, the piece at the back of the car need some work to fit good. Second, the dash board......:angryfire!!!!! When the interior is done and you try to put the body on...is not fit at all. The dash is to high and don't try to push cause you will damage the windshield!!! The only way I found is to cut the dash to lower it. That turned me off!!!! Finally, I changed the exterior mirrors to give a retro look. Anyway, I'm happy with the final result and with (a lot) of patience...wou will have a very nice Camaro!!!
