PCM/ Engine Control Computer?

i have a 95 2.2L. if i wanted to replace the PCM....do i have to take out the entire dash? or am i mistaken....is it under the wheel well? i have 3 references telling me 3 different things. one says its behind the glove compartment and the other says its behind the glove compartment
