I have a convert. and people have been braking into car around here. The guy next door to me has a convert. stang and the ripped his top off and stole his whole stereo system. I have a alarm on my car but i don't think that is going to cut it. Is there anything I can do to stop someone from doing the something

Thanks

Park it in a locked garage is about all more you can do for it... Maybe install an alarm system that uses an interior motion sensor?

Stay up one night and find out who is breaking into cars.
When you see him try to break in, put two bullet holes in his chest.
Take the body and impale it on a stick.
After the first few examples, the crime rate will drop considerably.

The above answer would be a good idea too, but the alarm won't go off until they cut your rag top. Which I am sure you would like to avoid.

I'm sure that really would make the crime rate drop dramatically in his area. lol :p

Keep a bat next to your bed and when you hear the alarm going off run out and kick the crap out of him........

Why keep a bat if you're going to kick him? Maybe put a car cover on it, that way they won't know it's a convertible. Just a thought? Also, whenever possible try to park in a well lit area.

Get a pit bull with a chip on his shoulder, and anchor it close enough to the car where nobody can get to it. Pissed on wheels are better than no wheels at all. Find one so mean you have to feed it with a sling shot.

I was thinking that too. Except I was thinking inside the car, but then you would get dog hair all over the place.

A angry pit bull inside a enclosed space = bull in a china closet lol.

Get an alarm with a 2way so you will know if someone is getting in to it. Also you can get these lil whistle things that go in your car and they are suppose to be so loud you cant be in the car because it hurts to bad. I can try to find out what they are called if you want.

^^ sounds like your neighbor will hate them.

Actually I bet its not loud at all. There is a certain frequency that resonates in the ear drum, so it sounds extremely loud and is painful. I want to say its like 2.4k Hz.

Problem with using earl is who's gonna clean up the mess after he digests all that? Anyway, an alarm with a proximity sensor is a good thing, friend has one on his jeep. It tells you to get away from the car before it goes off, and you can set the range it covers. Either that or sit in it for a few nights with a shotgun and blow a hole in the ass who tries to break into your car.
