I bought my 240 SW new in "93" it now has 217K miles it needs new lens all around. I have ordered all of the lens, the front turn signal lens are easy with 3 screws! Can anyone give advise on replacing the rear taillight and front head light lens?
Thanks
I love my old tank!

It's really quite easy, both the headlamps and the taillamps buckets are accessed from inside the compartment. The trunk should be nice and clean, the hood should be rusted fast. Just destroy the old headlight buckets to get them off. Replacements headlight assemblies can be found on EBay for about $112 plus shipping. The taillights should be about $80 plus shipping.

It is very easy to replace the rear lens..I did it all by my little ole self! Ordered a pair from LampsandLens on Ebay..(good people, one lens arrived cracked and they replaced it no charge and it arrived next day) remove the carpeted wheel well covers...remove the 2 screws that hold the lens in to the frame....pull the whole assembly out...remove the electrical connections..connect the new lens...replace the lens in the frame and screw the nuts on..All done!
