There's no way it would be a simple bolt-on swap. The width will be different (no clue how far off they are or even how you'd beging to fix it) and the fenders won't line up. You'll probably have to cut the fenders and weld the 2 together ('99 front part and '95 rear part), to make it line up with the doors and the rest of the front end parts; like you do with an Integra and Del Sol swap. But it's a lot of work and you'd have to know how to weld and do body work to be able to pull it off.

The integra front end swap has been covered quite a few times before, you should do a search on the topic. You should also check out honda-tech.com for more info and a bunch of pics of it.

I've been talking to Ridestreet about the the width and measurement issues before he posted this thread. The width measurements for a 92-95 civic 2 door and the 99 are pretty close. The 99 is about .3" different from the 95 and it would appear from top down pics that the difference is in the fenders. My primary concern is not whether or not the bumper will fit but rather the headlights. Ridestreet seems to think that replacing the radiator core will solve the headlight problem. It's something I'm not sure about but the other problem that I think that will present itself is the framework to support the corner lens on the 92-95 civic. I don't know if it can easily be removed to support the 99 headlights. Other than that he needs to know if there will be any other complication or anything else that needs to be swapped. If anyone can think of anything please let us know.

thanks fiberglass i know it can be done and am aware that it may be a little more than a bolt on from what i have read and seen the differences between the two are not that different i know that the hood lights fenders and the core support are different. i believe that after swapping out the supports which are what the headlights bolt to it should be easily done but am not sure has anybody done this swap on here or knows how to do it thanks
