Well MP3 or Ipod I cannot tell....but in as much as FM and AM are concerned, indeed there is a difference between America and Europe.
On FM band, all station frequencies in America are in odd decimals...like 95.1, 98.5, 101.7, etc...we do not have the even decimals also used in Europe like 97.2, 94.4...and then radio receivers digital tuners are programmed only on odd decimals: so you have a problem with European stations that fall on even decimals...unless or course you have a vintage tuner with a variable capacitor.....that can be tuned to any interval.
On the AM band, all stations in America are spaced by 10kHz..starting at 540, 550.....to 1600...., whereas in EUrope stations are spaced 9kHz....so again our receivers with programmed frequencies will miss or be off tune for most European stations.

OK I read their specs and all they say is totally compatible with your car system. I think the description they give tells all of the story..but they are an easy reach by phone for me...if you have specific additional questions I can call them and forward their reply. I"ll post the question on a computer forum here to see if some have experienced any fun or problems with these. Will come back.

FM Transmitters works just fine, as long as you can adjust it for odd decimals. The FM transmitters have become legal in Sweden this year. I have bought one, possible to adjust to every frequency between 88.0 to 107.9. It works just fine.

Why is not even decimals in use in America? It is wery frustating not to be able to recieve some stations with good quality.

What about US cars sold in Europe? I know there are also Delco radios in Trans Sports sold in Europe. Do they have even decimals? Is it possible to rebuild my radio with even decimals?

We just returned a Belkin FM transmitter since it only produced static and low quality sound on every channel. I don't know if this is a drawback of the concealed antennea or not, but others who bought the Belkin were also disappointed. We are USA with a USA model Transport. The Belkin only tunes to the odd channels as well.
