Yeah, but paccy goes all psycho when he eats a power pellet. Plus, he eats fruit, which is a good example for young peoples to follow. Oh, and also, Pac Man shows how you can still live your life like a normal person despite his disability (no arms or legs).

Mario only promotes drug use (mushrooms), and is constantly beating up on helpless turtles and other creatures... He also teaches children that playing with fire is OK (fireballs), and he also promotes communism:
