I have a 2001 Corolla that blows cold air when at idle. When I start to excelerate then warm air starts to blow. What could be causing this?

KigMG,
The car only has 60,000 miles on it. Would it be normal for a water pump to worn out on it with this low miles. I have owned 6 corolla's and all of them had 150,000 plus on them I never had a water pump be worn out. I know it can happen but this would be an oddity. I will check the coolant level to make sure this is the issue.

Two big ifs. If your ventilation system is vacuum actuated and if the heat temperature varies very close to the time you move the accelerator, you could have a vacuum issue such as a leak or a malfunctioning vacuum regulator.
