I got me a black civic 00 ex and i wanted to put some rims on it... i was just wonderin what rims anyone thought i should put on it. I like the ones off those black cars in the fast and the furious.. does anyone know what kind those are? also, is there a "too big" for rims on civics? thanks

Don't know what wheels are on the F&F civics...
As for the size of the rims, I think it would be better not to go wider then 7.5" (7" wide would be perfect). Also check the offset, if it's higher then 40 you should be fine in most cases (42 for 7" en 45 for 7,5").
If you see that these are correct you can go with anything from 14 to 18" rims...

The rims on the civics in TF&TF were 5-(double)-spokes. I think... And they looked chrome (heavy). I dont think that would be a wise decision to get unless you want to drive slower. As for size, IMO, big rims don't look that great on civics. Certain 17"s look good but 16's and 15's are sharp. They wiegh less, are cheaper, and boost acceleration (if lighter than stock). But of course it's completly up to you, so go with your desire. Just hear this out as one opinion.

About how much would chrome rims slow you down? And also are they much more expensive. Im not big into racing i just like the look. Also if you know any site with the rims in chrome, please let me know.

16s are a good compromise between form and function. But not many performance tires in 16s for Civics. 15s are nice and LOTS of performance tires out for Civics.
