confusing

ok, so for the first time, nissan is bringing the gtr to america, good. but im confused, it's stated that its the first one in the line up that isnt based on a sedan. ok great, but if the g35 is the skyline in japan, and here in the usa, there is a g35 sedan, and the gtr is nothing more than a beefed up g35, than the gtr has a sedan cousin in the g35 sedan. right if u can follow that than good job.
2nd, do u think that they'll change the nameplate of the g35, to skyline?
