Daimler V8 W.I.P

After seeing girlbears project i decided to do a drawing of my dads car for christmas.

So far ive spent about 4-5 hours on this and im real happy with how its looking.

Im just looking for some comments and maybe advice for the chrome because this is the first time im attempting it.

about the colour, i sort of had to choose the green as thats the colour of my dads car

So far so good. This is why I love AF S&D. I expected to open this thread and see a 2006-7 new Daimler Chrysler concept or something. Its nice to see some history.

about chrome.. its very simple if you think about it. Its almost like a mirror, reflecting everything around, so it has a (black or very dark) horizon line somewhere in the middle, and then the color which is reflected from the bottom, and the top.. experiment on some other sheet of paper 1st, its not difficult to understand.
