Thank you all for the compliments. If any of you build F1 or prototype cars that have that foil under engine you can get a roll of that stuff at Micheal's craft stores in th US, look in the cake section. It has the pattern like the foil in cigarette packs. One roll is 6 US dollars and you'll have a lifetime supply. I use a spray adhesive to secure it.

Very nice work....I'm currently working on the same kit while I'm waiting for the needed paint to finish up the Renault you see in the link below. How did you manage to get such a clean paint job on the rear wing? I am still contemplating on how to paint it. Did you just use masking tape?

I think I painted the whole thing with Tamiya Flourescent Red then masked using Tamiya Masking Tape then airbrushed Tamiya Semi-Gloss black.

I know you built this years ago (brilliant job on it too!) but I just came across your model and I am going to be building it myself soon.How did you achieve such a neat job on the vents on the side of the main body cowling? Did you fill the whole vent so it was flush and rescribe the lines?
