My fiance has a 2004 CHEVROLET SILVERADO C1500 Ext Cab and his birthday is coming up.

He'd really like to add some toys to it and I have noooooo clue as to how to go about doing that. :banghead:

I know he'd like some nerf boards, tint, a hitch, bed liner etc.

Id like to know your opinions on what would look best on this truck. Which brands are best etc. Anything else you can think of that might look good on the truck.

I dont have ALOT of money to play with when I do this, so keep that in mind too. I need something cheap thats also of good quality. :2cents:

Another thing......is it best for me to order the stuff before hand and then take it somewhere to be put on or what??

I really need all the info you guys can give me. I know that since Im female if I walk into a shop Im going to automatically be taken advantage of. So I need your help in preventing that. If I go in there with some sort of knowledge they will take me seriously. :nono:

Please guys.......Id love to 'borrow' the truck to run errands and bring it back looking hot as heck for him. :evillol:

Thanks so much!!!

Well I'm a chrome guy so Chrome additions are nice. Fender flares, Door handles, etc. Fog lights are always welcome, Tint is great....

What a woman....your better half is a lucky guy....

Happy Shopping!

i guess you could get the balls hanging from the bumper or something (actually that looks pretty stupid, so i wouldn't). maybe some chromed fender accent pieces or some cool bowtie sticker on the rear window. i would be careful though because maybe he doesnt like trucks that are all tacky and covered in little bells and whistles. maybe some type of cow pusher deal up front or some type of rollbar for the bed? i dont know what brands are cool, youd have to wait for the other dudes on the forum to fill ya in

I do not know what your spending limit is, but if you are looking for any thing bolt on, it will cost minimum $200, typically.
Here are a couple of links for you to look around.
If he is handy with tools he will be able to install any of the accessories.
Accessories are tricky if you are not sure what he wants, however, performance is never a failure. I would look at getting him a K&N system, things like that. But they can be pricing to. I hope this helps.. Please let us know what you bought him and have him write a post if he has any problems.

The only problem with Rhino is that is peels if the bed get's too hot in the summer. The best spray in Liner is Line-X, but will cost $500. But it is garanteed for the lifetime of the truck, so if anything happens to it, even 20 years from now, they will repair it or spray it for free.
