:banghead: :banghead: Hello all
I have a 2002 dodge caravan, I recently installed a thermostat that was stuck open "AGAIN" as this is the 2nd one I installed within 2 months. Am I unlucky in buying 2 bogus thermostats or is there something else possibly the matter. I understand there is a sensor listed in the book but cant seem to find it, as the book clearly shows it on or close to the thermostat housing area and mine does'nt seem to have it there.
Any Ideas
Thanks a lot

Did you get both thermostats from the same place?

I feel your pain/chill! I certainly hope you find your problem faster than I am finding mine. I have a 94 Shadow with the same problem. I have changed t'stat, coolant temperature sensor, a temperature sensor, a radiator fan relay, completely backflushed the entire cooling system and heater core then refilled with new antifreeze, then bled the system of any air, and I am still running cooler than I should be. Tomorrow I am trying yet another t'stat; a SUPERSTAT from Stant.
Have you bled the air from your cooling system? (burped it?)
