`check your timing or slightly advance it and see how it is.

no check engine lights?

bogs without check engine lights are rare.

but,

that would also depend on what the definition of bog is.

there are no check engine lights but upon closer inspection I noticed that my purge control solenoid wasnt wired up to the ecu. Could this be my problem??

Turns out p28 ecu doesnt use a purge valve solenoid. I did notice my vtec solenoid was leaking some oil though. I noticed the harness was oily all the way from where it plugs in down the line. It was the only thing that was oily in the bay. This is pissin me off.

Have you checked the fuel filter? Don't assume its someting complicated without checking the simple things first.

check the voltages for the MAP and TPS sensors, and verify that they are withing spec. The fact that you don't have a check engine light is wierd though. Because of that, it may be timing related. Verify your ignition timing with a timing light. Also, set the motor to TDC and verify your cam timing.
