195/70 R15 instead of 195/60 R15?

I need some snow tires to hold me over this winter:

195/60 R15 are on the rims now

guy is selling 195/70 R15

Mountable?

Also, if I mount them on the front wheels (just two) this ok?

You didn't tell us what vehicle this is going on, so we can't tell you if the tire is too big for the fenderwells.

Plus we need to know how wide the rim is.

Obviously the best situation is all 4 tires being the same.

Next best is the grippiest tires on the rear, so you are less likely to spinout.

But if only 2 is what you have, then you have to do what you have to do.

Diameter will be 1.5" taller, it will be 1.5" closer to the top of the under fender on top of your tire. Consider this changes when you turn the wheel all the way.
On a small car like that I don't believe it's a good idea, front's being taller than rears? No way man, NO GOOD IMO.
