I was wondering if anyone here could give me some advice. I currently own a dead 1986 Toyota camry. This car threw a rod. I am considering rebuilding it to be a rally car, but Im not sure If its a good idea. The car handles decent off road as a fwd, but I've heard rumors of a 4wd setup from old corollas that could be swapped in. Does anybody here have any info or input that may help me decide weather or not I should actually dive into this project or will it just be a big waste of time??

I'd say if you have the resources, the talent, and everything else, go for it. Although IMO Camry is too heavy and too big to be a rally car.
