Hey Guys,

Just a general question about when you change you oil, im trying to get a general idea of what other people do. How often do you change it, what kind of oil do you use, what kind of filter, and what amount of oil do you put in for a Z24 2002 NON-ECOTECH engine?

Thanks!

Lewis

z24 and non-ecotech cancel each other out, unless it's a 2.4, and I think they stopped making those in like 2001 didn't they? I thought it was all ecotech 2.2's now....someone please correct me if I'm wrong, which is highly likely, lol.

:wtf: I have no idea what's going on in this thread. I believe 02's came with the 2.4L also. All I know is that it's Ecotec not ecotecH, every time i read ecotech i can't help but say the H like "teaCH"

i dont know what the hell is going on. All I know is I have a 2002 Z24 (Z@24) 2.4L Non-echotech engine.

Can people please inform me of what oil they use, how much they use, what kind of filter they use and what gauge the bolt on the oil pan is.

well than its not a 2002

its either 2.2L ecotec or 2.4L non ecotec

i think the only way to settle this is for lewism to post pics of the car and engine bay
