noise ??

my tranny already make's a whinning noise. If i put in a reprogammed computer will it mess it up more ???????

What year and model GP do you have? Other than the whining sound any other problems like harsh or poor shifting?

Its really hard to say. If it is a mechanical whine and not a whine caused by bad or high line pressure you may be OK.

Checkout this thread. He installed a ZZP re-programmed PCM module and wound up getting whining and harsh shifting.

If you decide to get a re-programmed PCM module I would recommend using the DHP. How bad is the whining and under what circumstances do you hear it?
