Hi guys. My cousin has a 96 blazer that failed emissions because of a check engine light she had on. The guys at the emissions place gave a code which I cant remenber but I know it said something about not receiveing any data from the oxygen sensor on bank 2 sensor 1. Se took it to a shop and they told her that she needed to have the sensor replaced. So, she got all 4 and aked me to change them. I changed three of the except for the one by the pass side the upstream one. I took it off but the hole got stripped and the new one would not go in now. So I put the old noe back in there but I think that sensor is the one giving her the MIL. How can go from here? how do I get that new sensor inif the hole is stripped! is not to bad but I dnt have the right tools! can someone point in the right direction?!!! thanks!!!

you may have to retap the hole so the new sensor will go in correctly.

Check with your local auto parts store and see if they have a heli-coil (new theads) that will work. Take the new sensor with you.
