Hello
I seem to be having a hard time finding a paint color for my Bentley Speed 8 2003. It looks like a dark metallic green. I can't seem to find a good mach. Anybody know of a company that makes a color similar?
Thanks

Most of the paints I found had a gold "flake" to them and the Bentley should be silver. I used a mix of Testors Model Master Graphite metallic and Boyd's Dark Green pearl. Don't remember the exact mix but if you're building the LeMans Miniatures kit it should have come with a paint chip.

hey
Thanks for the tips. I am building the LMM kit, and it came with a color chip, which iv'e been using. seems like all the colors iv'e found have been to lite or a flake of some kind. Thanks again, i'll try and get photos of it up here, if I ever compleate it!

The actual color is a complicated mixture of around 5 colors inc. gold, silver, green and black. I used an automotive 2-part (dries flat) that I bought from a group that did a group purchase from PPG a few years ago.

Ask Hiroboy (Steve), he is really good at mixing the right colour and I'm sure if you asked him he'd get it done for a small price. You can find him on this forum and he also has an online shop. www.hiroboy.com (http://www.hiroboy.com).
