Epoxy Putty?

What is Epoxy putty and can i make body kits with this stuff?I saw one guy maiking a f&f supra and he said something about using epoxy putty for the bumper or somehing like that,if anyone can please explain what this stuff is i'll be very happy,by the way,i'm new here,i'll post some of my work some other time:uhoh:

well yes and no you have to make a base for the putty to work on cause if you dont the putty aint gonna dry fast and it might crack off.
i use Styrene(scrap plastic), Dynatron putty for base and spot putty to smooth it out.
if you can find a paint shop ask for eurosoft putty i heard its tha bomb bee of putties but theres no friggin paintshops in chicago

Ohh yeah,i forgot to ask about "styrene sheet" too,i heard you can make a mold for a bumper with this stuff,but i've never seen it,is it hard to make a new bumper?i took a bumper off one car and put it on another car with flawless results but ive never worked with this stuff like this,i want to know if you guys got it right the first time making a new bumper,

Did you play with clay when you were a kid?
Epoxy putty is like clay, and you can build a desired shape fairly easily with your finger and some other tools.
Usually, you mix two part putty of the equal amount, build a shape, then wait until chemical reaction hardens the putty.
Advantage of using epoxy is that, shrinkage is almost negligible, and it's easy to handle.
Disadvantage is that it's somewhat messy, and takes 6 - 12 hours to completely cure.
Because of its near zero shrinkage, it's ideal to build a thick volume, such as aero parts etc.
