02 Deck

What kind of deck does an 02 alero have right now...wattage wise. There are different decks, some 45w x 4 or 50w x4 and I want to know which one would be the best to buy, if it even makes any difference.

I don't know the wattage of the stock radio but it's probably not 45x4.. You probably won't hear a difference between this and an aftermarket radio even if it's rated at 50x4.. The best thing to do is replace the stock speakers with some 2 or 3 ways.. The back speakers should be 3-way..

It would be nice to know the wattage.
The only published specs I've ever seen is on the '04 models with the XMS option. That system was rated at 200 watts. But I don't think the regular or RDS systems are anywheres near that spec.
