follow up on no voltage to fuel pump

Okay, found a broken hot wire to pump just below trunk floor, put on new tank and pump, all is ok.
Now it runs better than it has in months, and i attribute that to a weak failing pump.Just cause car is running, dont assume pump is "good"
But no one can say these are all bad, i knew this car long before i got it, it has 237,000 miles on original pump. Not bad at all for electric in tank pumps!!.
