Anyone know what the wattage on the wires are for the headlights. I know it's like 55W but their has to be some margin for saftey.......no one will build a car that can only handle 150 and have a top speed of 150MPH.......you know what I mean.......maybe that guy that works at the dealership can find out.....

there is definately headway in the wires... BUT...
the harness (connector) is what wont last past 60W or so. after that they will begin to melt and break the connection between the bulbs and wires before you cause more damage..

ive used 80w/100w headlight bulbs on a UK spec Nissan Almera before and didnt have any problems. These bulbs are intended for off-road use but who cares, as long as i can see where im going, i wont end up off the road, if you know what i mean.

b-boogie....I think they can last more than that...I had some 80W's for three months and nothing happened( didn't know about the wattage)...maybe it's the bulb manugfacturers that don't put the right wattage sticker or say that they're a higher wattage to sell more......Hiper Industries super plasma xenon

first bulbs i had were some cheap ones that were 80w/85w and in a couple months my harnesses looked like they had been put in the microwave... :(
