380sl engine swap

I just bought a 83 380sl and it really lacks the power of a v-8. What engine can I drop in to make this car more fun. I saw people say to drop in a 5.6 euro spec and this and that! Does anybody know the real answer? And if so where can it be purchased?:banghead: Please help!!! And only help if you, yourself knows for sure. Thank you
