battery light is on, how do i get rid of it.
recently alternator was rebuilt, and battary changed. wats the deal?

You need to get alternator output checked. You can do it yourself with a $10 volt meter.

Should get around 14 vdc measured from one battery terminal to the other with the engine running. Anything less you have an alternator problem.

Replacement parts aren't always good parts.
Need to make sure all connections are clean and secure.
Both ends of each battery cable.
Plug going to the alternator.
Make sure the alternator belt has the proper tension.
If a shop did the work, take it back for warranty work.
