My Z-71 ride height looks like it is qualifyiing for the Daytona 500. ( Ass end up in the air) I would like to level the body, I know that the torsion bars are adjustable and if cranked up the alignment gets out of wack (Camber and Toe) Is it just a matter of cranking the torsion bars and gettting it realigned? Will this affect driveability and handling? This is a short bed short cab and is already short coupled which can get rather squirrelly. I would think that the torsion bars would not respond correctly if cranked up. It would seem that the torsion bar would not have the flexibility or loaded so much that the driveability, would suffer due to the increased spring rate. Maybe I am way off here as I am old school GM where coils and leafs were your only option. Any input appreciated.

I wouldnt do it. Mine were cranked on my truck when i bought it, and the rear springs were starting to sag and it looked like crap. In addition it puts the CV's at an extreme angle... not good. After a while it tears the boots and the grease gets dirty and milky from getting wet. They Will go out like that. thats $75 each wasted. It does mess up the handling, I noticed a stiff ride and it turns like crap at higher speeds on loose gravel and stuff. Trust me, it only took one CV for me to learn, the next day I had them lowered.
