I have a 95 lesabre that won't start. battery starter neutral safty switch and ignition switch all are either new or have been tested good. Also have tried a brand new key (pass key II) purchased at dealer matched to vin. Car won't crank if jumped at starter car will crank and start but stall as soon as starter is disingaged. I have found a blown fuse in the fuse box on the right side of car near kick panel # 8 a 20 amp. It blows instantly when replaced power to that fuse is a pink wire (ignition?) out put side that is a short to ground is a orange wire where does this go? is it related? I'm leaning toward a problem with the pass key II system. can this be by passed where is the relay for the start enable located and the enable module the books i have are limited in their wiring diagrams and supply practically no info on the passkey II system other than telling me the car has it.
Thank You
Thank You

When the theft deterrent module (TDM) detects an abnormal resistance value from the key and ignition lock cylinder in a Passkey II VATs system it will cutoff fuel supply by disabling fuel injection pulse width modulation and the starter so that is a possibility.
You may be able to bypass the starter circuits but I don't think you can bypass fuel injection pulse width modulation so it will probably still not start/fire up.
However, there are other bypass procedures if it is a key and igniton lock cylinder problem. If a problem is troubleshot to the TDM then that module will need to be replaced outright.

I feel your pain! I had a fuse blow as soon as I steped on the brake pedel. There wasn't any time to test items for the problem. Instead of putting a fuse in the fuse socket, I put a lightbulb. This allowed electricity to flow, and allow me to unhook items in the circuit and watch the brightness of the bulb. When the bulb gets dimmer or goes out you know you found one of the possible problems.
I unhooked evey bulb in the circuit and the bulb did go out. I never did find the problem. I started putting the bulbs back in and the fuse hasn't blown since. I'm not sure what I did to fix it....???
Jist thinking out loud here, you "might" be able to start the car with the bulb in the circuit.??? This would be just a test.
