96 TC Front end

I have a 96 SC which my lovely daughter drove in and out of a ditch, then hit a curb. Now the front wheels are not centered in the wheel well. They are a lot closer to the rear of the fender well closer to the door. Is there any adjustment for this or is the frame or something bent? And if so is there any way to fix this?:crying:

That is not good news. A common problem is the lower control arms will get bent/damaged from this type of accident. Also, check for any damage the subframe assembly and the struts. Best thing to do is perform a closer inspection to determine what suspension and steering components may have been damaged.

and alignment/chassis shop will have to check/inspect it

there could be and probably are several parts damaged, it may be very costly and not worth the cost if the car is anything except clean and low mileage

your best best may be to buy a cheap rear ended or non-running car of the same chassis design and swap the entire cradle suspension assembly from it

its no that bad you have to disconnect the power train harness and steering at the steering shaft knuckle and unbolt the top of the struts(easy) and disconnect the throttle and tranny cables, and exhaust pipe and lower the entire drivetrain and cradle suspension assembly and then swap your engine and trans onto the donor cradle suspension assembly and then put it back up under the car, four big bolts hold the cradle to the body,
