Hi, I am New here.
I have had a 96 sunfire for almost 3 years. The temp guage doesn't really move and the air blowing out of the vents is not too hot. It takes a long time to heat up (like an hour or so) then it gets hot. But this happens rarely. I replaced the thermostat thinking it was stuck open. The water pump went out on it and I replaces that. I bled the system and there is no air in it. What could be the cause of the temp guage not working regularily?

did you check the t-stat before you installed it? some are bad in the store. also, is it the right temp?
