I found this in my Mom's basement. Started it well over 15 yrs ago. Already have some wheels for it. Not sure on a color yet.

sweet man. i am a huge fan of the old school GTIs and can't wait for more progress.

I've always wanted to know what these wheels look like. Can you take a photo of them out of the box, please?

Plenty of VW fans around here to lend advice... ;)

I am at the starting stages on this build. Have the body primered. Started on the interior. I cut out the no detail door panels from the kit. Going to use the door panels from the F&F Eclipse. Did a quick mock up with the wheels and tires. Also enclosed a pic of the wheels.

I could use some pics or links to pics of cars like this. I'm thinking of a pearl white paint job and CF hood.

Nice car but ugly rims. I really hate 3 spoke wheels. On this car you should get some 15'' bbs rims. White and a black hood sounds great.

Please use some other rims!

I think I will stick with the rims. I like the way they look on the VW.

other rims dude. NO 3 SPOKES! hehhehee just my opinion. body looks excellent, keep us posted.
