4WD in reverse only!

It is the first snowstorm of the season here and I just discovered my 96 2500 Ram CTD has 4wd in reverse only! If I put tranny in D, 1, or 2 there is no 4wd in 4H or 4L....shift tranny into R and front diff is engaged and works perfect in hi and lo range. Any body seen this or does anyone have any idea?:frown:

Not familiar with your particular truck but I'm gonna guess that the locking hubs (assuming you have them) are frozen/bad.
