hello again.
this weekends project. replacing the front rotors.
About four months ago, I replaced the pads but did not have the money for new rotors(out of spec can't be milled). I was going to buy new rotors due to this bad vibration i get when Im at a stop and have my foot on the brake.
My question, since the new pads have probably formed to a warped rotor, do you think it will be o.k. for me to use the four month old pads on the new flat rotors? I hate to buy all new pads again. Do you think the pads will flatten out on the new rotors and create a good even surface after a while?
Oh yeah, what size is the torque bit size i will need for the caliper bolts? I did the pads at a buddy's house and used his..i can't remember the size. I think it was a T45.

If I was the only one driving the truck I would use the old pads. If something didn't feel right then put new pads on it.
My 96 bolts are 3/8" allen wrench. I have never seen one with torx but I could be wrong. My wife say's I usually am.
