vtec and vtec supercharger???

so whats the difference, or are they both the same?? for example, the new shelby series one produces 320 normally aspirated hp but w/the vtec supercharger option it produces 450 hp?? I thought VTEC stood for Variable Timing....it seems like it's a company name ie. VTEC superchargers, VTEC hoods, etc. etc.???? Someone please educate me.

Maybe is a honda Vtech engine acting as a supercharger.:D

holy shit, your 100% right. i don't know why i always get vtec and vortech mixed up, or classify them as the same. that is what i was thinking, i was mistaking vtec w/vortech, ok, i feel stupid. thank you :) told you guys i didn't know that much about the aftermarket.
