I am in need of 2 parts.
1) The round plastic cap thingy that is on the right side of the transmission (you can see it if you look under the car from the passenger wheel well. I "think" It's called the input shaft retainer (at least that's what it's called on stealth316.com
2) The bolt that you unscrew to fill up the tranny with gear oil (mine is rounded off)
I would really appreciate some help here, thanks!

www.stealth3000gtsalvage.com would be my best guess
Although I think the site is still down, so you would have to PM mykiss69 on 3si

i've been following a 29 car part-out thread by Mykiss69 on 3si. he hasn't responded in over a week (at least), his website is down, and peoples' attempts to contact his cell phone are useless b/c its out of service. so i wouldn't rely on MyKiss69's resources anymore.
as for other places, www.car-part.com is a great resource. its an online database of all salvage yards in the U.S., so you can find a local salvage yard that has a 3S with the part you need. most likely, just find a place that has a 3S car, then call that place to confirm or find out if they have the part you need.
as for the small parts you need, perhaps a dealership would be the best bet (not sure if dealerships carry tranny parts for a VR4/TT since they are Getrag transmissions as opposed to Mitsu built trannies in the NA cars). i would try the dealership first. Rockville Mitusbishi out of Maryland is awesome. tell them ur a 3si member and you get a huge discount.

as for the parts, could you show me on Stealth316 where you found the "input shaft retainer" part. direct link or link to pic would be nice. you have a 94 VR4, if i remember correctly. i did a search through CAPS and found some part numbers.

for the plug, it gives 2 part numbers b/c one is outdated. i believe the bottom one is the new number. so the tranny fill plug part number is MB 837036, replaced by part number MR 166736. there is a gasket for that fill plug, MB 837567. and the "cap" (input shaft retainer, i guess?) is MR 165355.
hope that helps.

FYI Rockville Mitsubishi is like 6 miles from me, lol. I see it everyday when I drive to work.

next time you stop by there, ask their Parts Department why they're not returning any part request emails anymore. there has been ZERO communication/response on their end via e-mail for the past month.
